Welcome to Tingang Madaang studio website. This studio is highly targeting to preserve and introduce culture heritage of the dayak tribes, specialy from east borneo (Kalimantan Timur) – Indonesia.

Meaning of Tingang Madaang

Tingang Madaang means Flying Hornbill bird. And within dayak people, hornbill bird have some meaning :

1. Dayak people believes that Hornbill is messenger between human world and the Highest Divinity. So the hornbill have big role in dayaknese life.
2. As symbol of unity.
3. As symbol of peace. At the past, hornbill feathers was used as symbol if outsider came with peace.
4. Hornbill bird have very loud sounds, and this means that we hope that our effort will have effect in present and future for dayaknese culture specially in East Borneo (Kalimantan Timur).
